Financial Technology Sales Executive

We are seeking highly experienced Financial Technology Sales Executives to lead our sales efforts into Large Financial Institutions in the United States. These individuals must be deal closers and will personally carry a significant quota. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of sales excellence, ability to meet/exceed quotas, and taking business to the next level. Must be hungry and have a passion for winning. Must possess a “hunter” mentality and have the ability to prospect, manage through the sales process, and close new accounts. We need someone that can be very hands-on, do whatever it takes to build revenue, and be a strategic thinker with the ability to create long-term sales plans and execute on them for our prospects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience selling software solutions exclusively to large financial institutions as well as proven success at smaller start-up companies.

Responsibilities

  • Build sales pipeline in defined territory, identify qualified opportunities, and close business
  • Meet/Exceed quarterly quota targets
  • Manage sales cycle from identifying prospects, working with numerous internal teams to coordinate appropriate resources, all the way through closing the deal
  • Manage and follow up on qualified leads
  • Update and track all activities in our Salesforce CRM automation tool

Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor degree is required.
  2. 10 years experience selling software solutions at the C-Level
  3. 5 years experience selling FinTech solutions to Large Financial Institutions
  4. Must have experience selling SaaS solution, preferably marketing solutions
  5. Proven success at smaller start-up companies
  6. Command knowledge of the enterprise software industry
  7. Record of sustained and significant quota over-achievement
  8. Experience working in a fast paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment
  9. Experience selling for major FinTech vendors (i.e. Fiserv) or competed against them in complex selling situations while selling for smaller start-up companies a plus
